In 2012 within the industrial environmental monitoring system internal environmental audits were held in each production department of the branches of JSC IDGC of the North-West.
During the internal audit several violations of the environmental legislation of the RF were detected, in particular:
- in certain production subdivisions of branches of JSC IDGC of the North-West the accounting system for treatment of waste of 1-4 hazard class is not organized in accordance with the established form (Order No.721 of the Ministry of Nature of the RF of September 1, 2011 on Approval of the Accounting Procedure for Waste Treatment);
- schemes of temporary placement of waste in the territory of REGs were not brought into compliance with the actual establishment of places of temporary waste storage;
- renewal of instruction for treatment of waste of 1-4 hazard class is required;
- renewal of marking of temporary waste storage sites and containers is required;
- primary accounting in the field of protection of atmospheric air is not organized.
On the basis of the Auditor's reports and comments activities directed to elimination of these violations are developed and implemented.
