The key achievement in the field of information technologies is the approval of the Company's Strategy in the Field of Information Technologies, Automation and Telecommunications for the period until 2016. Activities of IT departments in the reporting period were based on the provisions of the Strategy.

Under the program for comprehensive automation of production and financial and business activities within the framework of the Strategy in the reporting period, the implementation of general corporate system of normative and reference information, information system for passporting of electric grid equipment using Forgaenergo software, investment and capital construction management system, accounting system and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS was carried out in the reporting period.

Under the program for development of automated systems of technological management, the elaboration of a target program of development of automated technological management systems (ATMS) was commenced.

Under the program for optimization and development of IT infrastructure servers, data storage systems, active network equipment are purchased and services related to information infrastructure are performed.

Under the program of information safety development, audit of automated systems of technological management of the Company is conducted.

In 2012:

  • centralized purchase of equipment in the Company was carried out;
  • the process of switching to the unified system of the Company's IT infrastructure management on the base of Microsoft ActiveDirectory is performed;
  • modernization of IT infrastructure with regard to building of a failure-free cluster solution for operation of information bases of the enterprise continued;
  • the share of centralized projects was increased, which allows for saving funds spent on their realization;
  • the system of motor transport system management was implemented (AIS MTM);
  • the automated information system "Purchasing Management" was implemented;
  • the automated management system for allocated resources in carrying out rescue and recovery operations (MSAR RRO) was implemented.
