JSC IDGC of the North-West carries out its activities in accordance with the Provision on the Uniform Technical Policy of JSC IDGC Holding in the Distribution Grid Complex approved by resolution of the Board of Directors of JSC IDGC Holding of October 7, 2011 (Minutes No. 64).

The main tasks of the Company's technical policy in the distribution grid complex are:

• overcoming the tendency of aging of fixed assets by means of their modernization and application of innovative equipment and technologies in construction, reconstruction and technical re-equipment of electric grids;
• implementation of advanced operation technologies using modern diagnostics and monitoring means and technical and information-metering systems;
• increase of the capacity of the grids, reduction of loss of electric energy in distribution electric grids in order to increase the efficiency of their functioning;
• overcoming the tendency of expansion of the nomenclature of equipment applied on reconstruction and capital construction sites within the limits of servicing of one branch without execution of the project feasibility study;
• ensuring compliance of uniform requirements and approaches in implementation of the Company's technical policy.
