In 2012 Director General of the Company held working meetings with all Governors of the Northwestern Federal District (NWFD) and their relevant deputies (in the territory of presence of JSC IDGC of the North-West) on matters of coordination of actions in implementation by the branches of regional investment programs and plans of development of the electric grid infrastructure in general.

Based on results of such meetings minutes with specific guidelines on fulfillment of relevant agreements are signed and working groups are created jointly with executive authorities of the Vologda Region and the Republic of Karelia for solution of the “last mile” problem.

Constant business contacts are established and maintained between the press-services of governmental authorities of the constituent entities of the RF in the zone of responsibility of JSC IDGC of the North-West, the Authorized Representative of the NWFD, EMERCOM and the Public Relations Department of the Company.

In 2012 the Company’s management took part in socially important events held in the regions of the Federal District. For example, Director General Sergey Titov took part in celebrations devoted to the 1150-year anniversary of Russian statehood in the Novgorod and Pskov Regions on the invitation of the Governors of these regions. In the course of the events business meetings with the Administration of the regions were held.

In 2012, on the invitation of the Authorized Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Northwestern Federal District, Director General Sergey Titov took part in the meeting on the creation of Autonomous Non-Profit Organization (ANO) Strategic Partnership for Economic and Social Development of the North-West of the Russian Federation. The question of necessity of participation of JSC IDGC of the North-West in this project is discussed in the management bodies of the Company at the moment.

All meetings with the heads of the regions and participation of the Company’s top-managers in events of the Ministry of Energy and the Authorized Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the NWFD are covered in the federal and regional mass media.

Within the framework of activities for disclosure of information the Company, in the course of its interaction with governmental authorities, regularly refer to the Federal Tariff Service and Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia and their regional agencies information in accordance with provisions of the legislation on disclosure of information by entities of the wholesale and retail electricity market. Pursuant to Decree of the Government of the RF No.24 of January 21, 2004 on Approval of Standards for Disclosure of Information by Entities of the Wholesale and Retail Electricity Market, this information is posted on the website of JSC IDGC of the North-West in special section “Information Disclosure Standard”.
